Thanks to people such as yourself, we are able to serve this community and protect you, your
family and your property. Responding to
fires and emergencies is only part of what we do. As volunteers, we have also logged countless hours of training to keep
our professional skills sharp. In addition, many hours are spent maintaining fire apparatus, our building, fire prevention
activities as well as community events. This kind of dedication does come at a cost. The money you give is just as vital as the time and effort each volunteer contributes.
The photo at the right shows the basic cost to outfit just one firefighter and just one of the many reasons why Belford
Engine needs your help! Gear is custom sized, meaning if a firefighter quits for whatever reason, there is no guarantee
their equipment will fit the next person.
